Overview
ECI-3000A+ Veterinary Ultrasonic Diagnostic Instrument is a pregnancy testing equipment designed for medium and large-sized animals such as pigs, cows and sheep, equipped with 8.0-inch high-definition screen and multi-frequency probe system, which supports back-fat measurement and pregnancy detection. The battery can be replaced and USB data export function is suitable for the efficient operation of farms, helping accurate breeding decisions.

Animal Testing Procedure
● BOVINE: estimate gestation age according to cow body length.(rectal probe required)
1. Clean out the excreta in cow's rectum.
2. Palpate and make an initial estimate of gestational status to determine the reproductive tissues needed for the ultrasound scan.
3. Hold the probe and insert it into the rectum with the hand firmly against the probe, making sure that the hand first feels any of the following. Place your hand on the dorsal area between the rectal wall and the transducer.
4. The internal structure of the cow will be displayed on the screen. The bladder is located in the vertical cross section, with the cervical tissue and body of the uterus in the section below. Viewed horizontally, the uterine horns are usually rounded. Move the probe in the rectum until the coupled portion of the uterine horn and uterine body is shown, then move the transducer in the direction of the uterine horn as shown below:

● SWINE: estimate gestation age according to swine heart length
1. Make the swine in a state of stand.when the skin is too dirty, clean the test position first, the effect will be better
2.The optimum position for testing is 10-15cm above the second pair nipples at the bottom.The probe is tilted forward 45 degrees. Put the probe at the position of uterus.
3.sometimes there is a black ball, that is the probe put on the wrong position or there too much pee in bladder, need to let the pig pee first then test.
4.Non pregnant : shows the uterus, it is off-white
After mating: the early stage is black gestational sac, the bones are white in the late stage
