ECI-UK500 Veterinary Ultrasonic Scalpel System with 3 Types of Cutter-heads

The ultrasonic scalpel system consists of a main unit, foot pedal, ultrasonic scalpel handle, and transducer. Ultrasound knife can generate high energy ultrasound to achieve cutting and coagulation of tissue effect.

Veterinary Ultrasonic scalpel is a high-frequency electrosurgical device, mainly suitable for soft tissue cutting and vascular closure and other operations. The working principle of ultrasound knife is to use ultrasound frequency generator to make the metal blade to a certain resonance frequency for high-frequency vibration, usually in the 55000Hz or so, which can make the tissue of water molecules vaporisation, protein hydrogen bond breaking, cell collapse, so as to achieve the tissue cutting or coagulation. At the same time, the veterinary ultrasonic scalpel can quickly close small blood vessels when cutting tissue, reducing bleeding and achieving almost bloodless cutting.

The output power of the ultrasonic scalpel can be set by the “↑” and “↓” buttons on the main interface. A total of 5 gears, the maximum is 5 gears, the minimum is 1 gear, the default is the third gear, you can adjust the output power according to the actual demand.

Click the “Settings” button to set other parameters

① “Transducer test” can test the resonance frequency and impedance of the transducer and other information.

② “Hand/foot control excitation” can set the ultrasound knife excitation mode, there are three kinds.

③ “host work information” can view a series of host information

④ “Language” only supports English and Chinese for the time being.

⑤ “Brightness” can adjust the brightness of the screen, a total of five stops

⑥ “System Information” can view the hardware and software version of the host computer.

After setting the parameters, you need to click the “Back” button to return to the boot interface, and then click the “READY” button to re-initialize the cutter head.

Align the transducer in the socket of the cutter-head on the handle, and then tighten the cutter-head can be. After the cutter-head is installed, you can connect the plug to the host computer to test whether it is installed correctly.

Removal of the cutter-head on the veterinary ultrasonic scalpel  is the reverse of the installation procedure.
