ECI-V80S Handheld Wireless Ultrasound Probe for Animal Pregnant Diagnosis
Overview
The device connects via WiFi to an Android or ISO phone or tablet (requires a dedicated app) and transmits ultrasound images in real time, cable-free, for on-farm flexibility. 8-channel, 80-elements probe technology improves image resolution to a depth of 90-200 mm, allowing clear images of mid- and late-gestation embryos (e.g., pigs after 25 days of gestation). 16-colour pseudo-colour display enhances tissue contrast, helping to distinguish embryos from surrounding tissue. 3000mAh battery provides over 3 hours of battery life for all-day testing. IPX6 waterproof design allows for direct rinsing and disinfection, and the lightweight body (approx. 450g) is easy to carry to the pen test site. Scan Position
Place the probe in the upper part of the sow between the penultimate and third nipple at about 5 CM, and just adjust it towards the cervical vertebrae at about 45 degrees. (For primiparous sows and sows in the early stages of gestation, the measurement can be taken at the position between the first two nipples. Sows in the late stages of gestation that have been farrowed, because the uterus is loosening and dropping closer to the abdominal wall, the measurement can be taken at the position between the penultimate third and fourth nipples).
