Easy Guide: Using Eacenic Group's Advanced Insemination Gun
The global livestock industry is accelerating its shift toward precision and standardization. As a core technology driving genetic improvement and reproductive efficiency in livestock and poultry, Artificial Insemination (AI) continues to expand its market footprint.

According to industry figures, the global animal artificial insemination market reached USD 6 billion in 2024 and is projected to surpass USD 12.7 billion by 2034, marking a compound annual growth rate of 8%. This expansion is fueled primarily by rising global demand for animal protein, the wider uptake of genetic improvement in breeding stock, and the rapid growth of large-scale farming across emerging markets.
From a regional perspective, Europe and North America stand as global leaders in breeding technology, collectively holding 65% of the worldwide market. AI penetration among large-scale operations in these regions exceeds 85%, reflecting highly mature and established adoption. Emerging markets in Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Africa are outpacing the rest in growth and will form the core of future industry expansion. Yet uneven access to technology persists at the grassroots level: in remote pastures, AI adoption rates fall below 30%, meaning the full genetic potential of premium breeding stock cannot be fully unlocked.

Compared with other artificial insemination guns, Eacenic Group’s Visual Insemination Gun offers distinct advantages.
- Unlike probes on standard insemination guns, the probe of the Eacenic insemination gun is made of biosilicone, which is gentle on the animal’s uterus. Stainless steel probes are durable but can cause damage to uterine tissue.
- The Eacenic insemination gun uses a removable battery. The 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery is a standard model that delivers 3–4 hours of operating time per charge, and replacement batteries are readily available in your local market. This eliminates international shipping costs for spare batteries and avoids unnecessary shipping procedures.
- In terms of medical functions, the device supports semen deposition, inflammation inspection, uterine cleaning and medication administration.
- In terms of operational functions, it supports photo capture, video recording and data storage.
- It also comes with a probe heating function to reduce animal stress during insemination procedures.

- It provides built-in illumination to light up the uterine cavity during operation.
- The device is equipped with a 3-inch display screen.
- The whole unit weighs only 0.6 kg.
- It is fitted with a 1 million pixels camera.
- The device features a metal housing.
- The unit is waterproof and moisture-resistant.
- The insemination gun is easy to operate, and we provide instructional operation videos for user guidance.

Operating Instructions
- Thaw frozen semen straws in warm water at 37°C for 10 minutes to prepare for insemination.
- Wipe down the entire visual insemination gun with an alcohol wipe for full disinfection. Verify the battery is fully charged and the camera lens is clear. Allow all alcohol to evaporate completely before use.
- Clean the dam’s vulva with a warm damp cloth to remove any visible debris.
- Load the thawed semen straw into the flexible insemination catheter and set it aside.
- Power on the visual insemination gun and wait for the image to focus sharply. Insert the probe into the vagina at a slight upward angle for the first 5–10 cm to avoid injury to the cervical os, then advance horizontally until the cervix is clearly in view. If mucus or fluid blurs the lens, squeeze the air bulb to blow it away for a clear visual.
- Insert the preloaded insemination catheter into the gun. Guide it gently toward the cervix while monitoring the screen, twisting slightly as you advance approximately 10 cm into the uterine body. Do not insert too deeply, as this will compromise insemination results. Then depress the plunger to deposit the semen into the uterus.
- Once insemination is confirmed complete, slowly twist and withdraw the catheter. After verifying on screen that it has exited the cervix, turn on the vibration function to stimulate cervical contraction and boost conception rates. Remove the probe from the dam. Wipe the unit clean with a damp cloth, disinfect the entire device with alcohol, and store it in the dedicated storage case ready for next use.
