Weighing only 250 grams, the probe connects directly to Android smartphones or tablets via a Type‑C port, eliminating the need for a bulky main unit. The 3.5 MHz convex probe delivers scanning depth ranging from 60 mm to 240 mm, with a maximum detection depth of ≥140 mm. It supports deep scanning of abdominal and uterine structures in large animals. Farm staff can perform pregnancy examinations directly inside pens, without driving or relocating livestock. 

1. Multi‑mode imaging for blood‑flow and foetal‑viability evaluation 

It supports B‑mode, color C‑mode and PW pulsed‑wave Doppler modes, alongside B/B split‑screen and B‑C dual‑view imaging. Beyond standard B‑mode anatomical scanning, users can visualise blood‑flow signals and calculate heart rate, blood‑flow velocity, resistance index (RI) and pulsatility index (PI). This enables reliable assessment of foetal viability and uterine perfusion, overcoming a key limitation of basic grayscale B‑mode scanners that cannot confirm foetal life signs. 

2.Species‑specific obstetric measurement suite to minimise human judgement errors 

Pre‑loaded obstetric measurement presets for pigs and sheep include gestational‑sac diameter, crown‑rump length, uterine diameter, trunk transverse diameter (TTD) and biparietal diameter (BPD). A dedicated multiple‑foetus recording window lets operators log sex and clinical notes for each foetus individually, reducing inaccuracies caused by manual visual estimation. 

3.Comprehensive breeding‑record management 

Built‑in animal‑record functions allow users to create, search and edit animal case files, while storing ultrasound still images and cine‑loop video clips. DICOM server upload is supported to help farms organise breeding records and carry out breeding‑performance statistical analysis.
