I. Estrus Patterns in Horses (Foundations of Scientific Breeding)

  Horses are animals with seasonal estrus, with their estrus period mainly falling between March and August. The average estrus cycle lasts 21 days, and each estrus phase lasts for about 7 days. Several factors influence estrus in horses, including genetics, light exposure, temperature, humidity, and feeding management. Typical signs of estrus include:
